Early Life, Books, and Education
Bingham was born in 1964 in San Jose, California, United States. She attended high school at El Molino High School in Forestville, California, graduating in 1983. Gifted musically, at the age of 20 she was hired to tour the United States, Canada, and Mexico as a vocalist with a Christian entertainment group called "The Spurrlows." In 1993, Bingham became the marketing director for a business consulting company in Portland, Oregon.
In 2013, Bingham's teen daughter took her own life due to clinical depression. In an effort to process her pain and to heal, Bingham authored "Once The Storm Is Over: From Grieving to Healing After the Suicide of My Daughter," which won Twitter's national Literary Critic Reviewer's Contest in 2015 and the Readers' Favorite 5-Star Award. Additionally, her "Never Enough: A Recovery Workbook" was the first of its kind. In 2019, she published "Messages From Metatron: A Course in Self-Transformation" and became known for her spiritual channeling abilities. In 2023, a selection of her books was chosen by BIBLIOBOARD to be included in Indie Arizona, distributed to Arizona schools and libraries.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from City University of Seattle and later completed graduate studies in mental health counseling. She has also earned credentials in clinical hypnotherapy, sound therapy, Jungian archetypal psychology, and professional publishing. In 2024 she earned a Master of Humanities in Creative Writing with a minor in English from Tiffin University, graduating summa cum laude.
Career
Bingham worked for many years as a life coach and certified clinical hypnotherapist, operating a private practice in Portland, Oregon. Her writing and podcasts have centered on mental health awareness, spirituality, recovery, and personal growth. She has maintained a blog discussing these subjects and has hosted podcasts related to mental wellness and spiritual self-development. Her writings often draw on her experiences and educational background in psychology and counseling. She opened Puerto Penasco Publishing in 2024.
Personal Life
Bingham has lived in Tucson, Arizona, where she has continued her work as a writer and publisher. Her interests include spirituality and outdoor activities such as camping and kayaking. She has a writing studio in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. She is a devout Hindu sadhaka who is a devotee of the female yogi MANA in Rishikesh, India. Bingham attributes extensive time spent in Tantric meditation practice, solitude, and silence to her channeling abilities. Her upcoming book is the channeled life story of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo entitled "With Love, From Frida," which is publishing in early 2027.
